Lake Louise Parking

Paid parking at the Lake Louise lakeshore lot in summer. The lot fills before 4am on peak days in July and August. Arriving at 7 or 8am expecting a spot is not a realistic plan.

If the summer lot is full

Park at the Lake Louise Ski Resort and take the Parks Canada Shuttle up to the lake. That is the intended system for peak days. The shuttle only runs in summer (roughly mid-May to mid-October).

Winter

Parking is free from roughly mid-October to mid-May. Easier to find than in summer, but the lot still fills on busy weekends and holidays. The ski resort has its own separate parking for skiers.
