A historic lodge located on Highway 93 South (Banff-Windermere Highway), near the Vermilion Pass. Originally built by the CPR in 1922 as a “bungalow camp” to encourage motor tourism.
Heritage
The lodge still features the original central log building and several guest cabins. It is known for its lack of modern distractions (no Wi-Fi or cellular service in the cabins) and its focus on local, seasonal dining. It provides a distinct, off-the-grid mountain trip.
