Hwy 93S

A historic lodge located on Highway 93 South (Banff-Windermere Highway), near the Vermilion Pass. Originally built by the CPR in 1922 as a “bungalow camp” to encourage motor tourism.

Heritage

The lodge still features the original central log building and several guest cabins. It is known for an off-grid mountain atmosphere and local, seasonal dining, but current connectivity, amenities, menus, rates, and booking details should be confirmed directly with the lodge.
