Herbert Lake in spring, one of the first easy stops north of Lake Louise on Highway 93 North.

A small lake 7 km north of Lake Louise along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park. Herbert Lake is a prominent photography site known for its mirror-like reflections of Mount Temple and the Main Range peaks; especially at dawn when the water is glassy.

The lake sits at the southern end of the parkway corridor, among the first stops north of Lake Louise on the route toward Bow Pass and the Columbia Icefield.
