Lift

Front Side

Built 2000

A high-speed quad chairlift built in 2000 by Leitner. Replaced the Glacier Chair Triple (Murray-Latta, 1976–2000), which had run alongside the Olympic Chair to serve lower-mountain terrain from base to mid-mountain. Ran parallel to the later Friendly Giant Yan detachable; the Leitner Glacier Express then became the main way out of the base. Operates as a chondola (chair/gondola hybrid) in summer. Provides access to glacier-side terrain and easier runs than the former Olympic Chair, including Deer Run, Easy Street, Pika, and Juniper; along with better access to Whitehorn Lodge. Feeds into the Top of the World Express and Summit Chair for expert terrain.
