Whitehorn 1

Advanced terrain in the Whitehorn zone of the Back Bowls, accessed from the Pipestone Express. Named for Mount Whitehorn (2,637 m); the mountain’s pointed, horn-like summit remains snow-capped throughout early summer and provides the backdrop for the resort’s most aggressive terrain. Part of the patrol sweep sector; patrollers sweeping Whitehorn 1 coordinate with Saddleback sweepers at the gates. Subject to rigorous avalanche control before opening after significant snowfall. Neighbours Rodney’s Ridge, Ridge Run, and Wounded Knee cat track.
