Sheol Mountain
Paradise Valley / Lake Louise
A peak forming the western wall of the pass between Mount Fairview and the Mount Aberdeen massif. Sheol Mountain (2,779 m) is less frequently summited than Fairview but its “fierce” rocky cliffs are a major visual component of Saddleback Pass and Paradise Valley scenery.
The pass connects Paradise Valley to Lake Louise via the Sheol/Paradise Connector and Saddleback Pass. Sheol is visible from Saddleback alongside Mount Temple, Mount Lefroy, and Mount Victoria.
