An intermediate run in the West Bowl (Run #175), named for bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), also known as kinnikinnick; a low, trailing evergreen shrub. Part of the berry series with Blueberry and Buffaloberry that sustain grizzly bears; these names replaced informal designations when the West Bowl was officially expanded.
