E.R. 6
One of the Eagle Ridge (ER 1–7) technical chutes on the backside, widely regarded as one of the steepest runs on the mountain (with ER 7). High density of rock bands; requires expert navigation to avoid “cliffing out.” Often the last to open; requires 160 cm+ snowpack to safely cover rocky hazards. ER 6 was a permanent avalanche closure under Parks Service before the resort assumed avalanche operations in the mid-1990s. Accessed via the Paradise Chair and The Corridor.
