Blue Front Side

Long intermediate cruiser (cat-track) from the upper mountain to the base area on the Front Side (Run #37). The primary access route for the Home Run Chutes (36), Flight Chutes (42, 43, 45), Upshoots (41), and Mirkwood (38); patrol sweeps traverse Home Run through Flight Chutes 1 and 2 to “Olympic Top.” Funnels into Grizzly Gully (39). Wind can deposit 40 cm overnight on the Frontside chutes; early-morning avalanche control teams traverse via Home Run. See Eagle Ridge and Frontside Chutes.
