Larch Poma
Intermediate mogul terrain in the Larch area, named for the former Larch Poma lift; Larch Poma (Tripod Towers, 1954–1961) and Larch Poma (Fixed Tower B-100, 1961–1974). Sustained pitch with no flat break; a classic “leg burner” favoured by instructors for mogul training. Replaced by the Larch Double Chair and later the Larch Express. See Leg Burner for the patrol race and endurance-run culture.
