Upshoots

Expert terrain (Run 41) in the Flight Chutes zone on the Front Side. Named “Upshoots” because from Whitehorn Lodge the runs appear to “shoot up” into the rock bands above the lower-mountain tree line. Part of the same drainage system as the Flight Chutes; often used as a “relief valve”; if one chute is too rocky, the adjacent Upshoot may have better coverage due to wind swirl around the Grizzly Gully buttress.
