Black Diamond West Bowl

Advanced terrain (Run #109) in West Bowl, named for Mount Temple (3,544 m), the highest peak in the Bow Range, and Temple Lodge, the first major infrastructure on the mountain’s backside (1938). Accessed via the Pipestone Express and Summit Chair; part of the Ten Peaks sector with West Bowl Gully and West Bowl. Mount Temple was named for Sir Richard Temple, an administrator in British India who visited the Rockies in 1884.
