The Lake Louise Park and Ride is the large parking lot at the Lake Louise Ski Resort base, at 1 Whitehorn Road just off the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway 1. Parking is free, subject to the seasonal access rules that apply to shuttle users.

The shuttle hub

The lot is the staging hub for the lakes shuttle system. Parks Canada shuttles to the Lake Louise lakeshore and Moraine Lake depart here. Access to Moraine Lake continues along Moraine Lake Road. Commercial operators also use the base area, and regional Roam Transit buses connect it with Banff.

The Lake Connector is included with a Parks Canada shuttle reservation. It travels between Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, allowing visitors to see both lakes with one booking.

The same base area serves the Lake Louise Summer Sightseeing Gondola and the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

Parking and check-in

Reservation holders park and check in at the kiosk during their assigned departure window. In peak season, use of the free lot for lake access is tied to holding a shuttle reservation. Arrive with enough time to park, walk to check-in, and prepare for boarding.

Confirm shuttle dates, reservation windows, and parking rules through reservation.pc.gc.ca and Parks Canada before planning around a specific date.
